Every year, thousands of useless and poorly trained specialists enter the Russian labor market. To avoid a similar situation after graduating from an institute or university, it is better to study the rating before entering the most popular Russian universities 2017-2018. We bring it to your attention. The rating compiled by the Social Navigator project (owned by the International Today Russia News Agency) is based on a number of important factors, such as:
- the need (on the part of employers) for specialists trained by a particular educational institution;
- the relevance of the research product produced by the university, which is measured in the citation index of scientific publications of employees;
- monetization of an intellectual product (research and development) produced by a university.
The list of the most popular universities in 2017 includes almost all institutions in which students are trained in the most important and additional higher education programs. The exception is the spiritual and military educational institutions, as well as universities of the cultural sphere.
Here's what the top 20 best classical universities in Russia look like. They are leaders in citing the work of employees - 11.9%.
As in 2016, the first line in the current ranking is MSU - the best university in the country.
Here are engineering universities, considered the best of all Russian technical universities.
Tops the list of MEPhI, whose citation index of pedagogical staff reaches a record 27%.
Engineering universities have the highest rate of intellectual product capitalization. On average, it is 15.6% of the budget of universities.
On the other hand, agricultural universities in Russia have the highest percentage of graduates who got jobs in distribution. It is 68%.
As in the 2016 demand list, the first lines in the current selection “staked out” the SSAU and the KubSAU.
Russian medical universities are in second place on the citation index of employee labor (11.7%).
But humanitarian universities can not boast of either high citation index (8.6%) or a large share of the budget from research (7.7%).
And in 2017, institutions from the sphere of management complete the selection of the most popular universities and institutes in Russia.
Graduates of such universities are the most unclaimed in the labor market. The most difficult thing is to find a job in a specialty for graduates with "crusts" of economic, financial and legal profiles.
Natalya Tyurina, who heads the Social Navigator project, believes that such a rating will be of great interest to both future applicants and current employers looking for promising personnel. Many school graduates are guided by the demand for higher education institutions, choosing where to go to study.
Tyurina also noted that a comparison of current and last year’s rating results would not be entirely correct. This year there have been changes in the internal structure and optimization of universities. Because of this, some educational institutions that were in worthy positions in 2016 disappeared from the list.
At the same time, the leaders in each list of universities remained the same, which, according to experts, indicates the sustainability of higher education, if we take its characteristics as the basis.
